A Warm Welcome to the School Year!

Dear Emerson Eagles and Families,

I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to the Emerson Elementary School community. My name is Dan Horn, and it is my great honor to serve as the Principal of Emerson Elementary School. With over 14 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of wearing many hats, including elementary bilingual teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, and most recently, Senior Director of School Support for the Achievement Network. Now, I am excited to return to the role of school principal and work alongside you, your students, and our incredible Emerson teachers to ensure the success of every student.

At Emerson Elementary, our commitment is clear: we strive to provide every student with rigorous instruction and unwavering support, setting them on the path to success in college and their future careers. Our dedicated staff is deeply committed to collaborative planning for rigorous and engaging instruction, ensuring that each student reaches their full potential. We value each and every one of our students, and we take great pride in providing comprehensive social and emotional support to help them thrive.
