Principal's Message

A Warm Welcome to the School Year!

Dear Emerson Eagles and Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. My name is Dan Horn and I am honored to be the Principal of Emerson Elementary School.

I have been in education for 17 years as a substitute teacher, elementary school bilingual teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal and instructional leadership coach. I am excited to be the Principal at Emerson Elementary School, where we ensure excellence through increased learning for all.  

Our Emerson Elementary staff is a community of educators who believe that through rigorous instruction and focused social and emotional support, all students can excel in school and beyond. We are SOARing to new heights this year as we strive for excellence in all that we do.

It is an honor to serve alongside you in support of your students and the Pasco community. Emerson is a special place. I look forward to getting to know each of you and your students.
